Join SF Parents!
Become a member of SF Parents and invest in stronger public schools for every student in San Francisco. Your membership directly supports our work to inform families, elevate parent voices, and advocate for policies that improve student outcomes across SFUSD. As a member, you’ll stay connected to what’s happening in our schools, receive opportunities to take action, connect with other families, and participate in advocacy, volunteer, and leadership opportunities that fit your interests. Together, our members create a stronger, more influential voice for students and families. Ready to get involved? Email geri@sfparents.org to learn more about becoming a member, our campaigns, and additional volunteer opportunities.
Help Shape How San Francisco Invests in Children & Families
The Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families (DCYF) is recruiting community members to serve on the Children and Youth Fund Oversight and Advisory Committee (OAC), which helps oversee the City’s Children and Youth Fund and makes recommendations on how funding should support children, youth, and families. If you’re a parent, caregiver, educator, youth advocate, or community member who wants to help shape these investments, we encourage you to apply.

Share this newsletter with a friend!
Do you have a friend or family member new to SFUSD? Encourage them to sign up for our newsletter. Throughout the year we are your primary source for SFUSD updates, with a perspective focused on kids first. We also share resources and opportunities – and we’d love to get to know all of our new SFUSD families. Forward this to your friends and tell them to sign up for our newsletter here!
We hope you all enjoy the rest of your summer break, and we will be back with resources and back to school news in the coming weeks!
