S.F. Parent Town Hall: Public Education Pandemic Updates with our Local State Representatives

On January 10th, 2021, we joined in conversation with State Senator Scott Wiener, Assemblymembers David Chiu & Phil Ting to hear from them on the state of public education California, particularly related to the pandemic-impacted continued school closures and how they are addressing at the state level. This was an empowering opportunity for SF families to listen and ask questions to our state representatives about the upcoming state budget and legislation to support education, the pandemic’s impact on public education, longstanding issues with underfunding of public education in California, and more.
