GENERAL GUIDANCE
- Check in with your PTO/A or School Site Council (SSC). They often hold relationships with afterschool providers and enrichment programs and may have the most up-to-date information on what’s available to your community.
- Reach out to nonprofit providers like your local neighborhood center, YMCA, or Boys & Girls Club. As providers prepare to offer offsite programming, they will need to operate within the capacity of whatever offsite locations are available and will likely need to prioritize more vulnerable students first. Please be patient as they develop their plans and ensure they have the right staff, space, and programming in place to keep kids safe.
- Connect with other families at your school or in your neighborhood to share caregiving plans, rotate supervision, or problem-solve together.
